__
Football South Coast /Gameday App have released the first 7 games of the year so be sure to check it out and see when you will be playing. With the draw released you will notice there are no games at Cawley Park – Russell Vale , this is due to the ground being closed for any games until June! As for training at Cawley Park stay tuned and please ** PLEASE DO NOT TRAIN AT CAWLEY PARK !!!

Teams schedules can be found at the following link or through the Gameday APP..
Game Update
Numerous grounds are washed out so please double check on the link below if your children’s game has been cancelled or not. If the grounds open by next week the draw will remain with Round 1 washed out so Round 2 games in place.

Ground Talk

We have started the task of getting the long grass at Cawley Park down to a manageable length, to assist in drying and to get the field back to a playable state, This is not going to be a quick fix, nor an easy fix. We are asking for your assistance in this task.
What is required, I hear you ask?
There is a lot of long grass that needs cutting down, the best tool for this is a blade attachment for a whipper snipper, the line trimmers will work to some extent. If you have one of these and can bring it down that would be greatly appreciated.
The other important task that is needed is to remove as much of this cut grass as possible, if you have a wheelbarrow and a rake, please bring this, if you just have a rake, please bring this, many hands make light work, don’t feel you cannot assist, there will be many wheelbarrow trips to be emptied, grass to be picked up, your assistance will be greatly appreciated and utilised. We will put on a free sausage sizzle and drink, at 6pm, doing as much as we can under lights 😊
I will be there from about 10am, but any time you can provide over the course of the day will be greatly appreciated. I know there will a number of people turning up from 4pm onwards.
Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st
Any amount of time you can give will go a long way to getting this task completed.
Thank you all in advance

Club Announcement.
Hi, several people have approached me over the last few months about helping me with the maintenance of Cawley Pak, thank you very much. I would like to create a β€˜WhatsApp’ group to notify those who can help, that I am heading down to Cawley Park or if there is a day when help would be appreciated. I am not going to do a roster; it will be just about helping when it suits you or you are available. If you could email your name and mobile number to; peter.nethercott@gmail.com, it would be greatly appreciated. Especially in the next few weeks after this rain stops and I can get on the field when it dies out. Thank you again your support is greatly appreciated.

Barefoot Bowls Day 2022 🎱🦢🏽
Barefoot Bowls Day is an opportunity for everyone to socialise with their new teams and meet some parents prior to the start of the season. It is always a fun day , been a bit wet in past few but the kids still have had fun in the beer garden and hopefully its dry enough this year.
RVJFC Barefoot Bowls is on at Woonona Bowling Club on Sunday March 13th starting at 3.30pm. There is no cost for the Bowls or the sausage sizzle thanks to LJ’s Kitchen for providing the sausages this year. How ever we do need to know how many adults and kids are going to attend for catering purposes.
Can you please let your teams manager/coach know if you can make it by next Wednesday 9/3/21 for catering purposes.
Feel free to hang around at the Bowlo at LJ’s Kitchen for a delightful dinner and a few drinks after bowling..
Here’s hoping it stays dry and we get a bowl.
Hope to see you there πŸ˜€πŸ¦ΆπŸ½
