The registration process for New Referees is as follows;
If you are 13 years of age or older you are eligible to apply to become a referee.
There are four levels to the refereeing accreditation process. New entrants begin by completing their level 4 certificate.
In order to complete the level 4 certificate for 2014 a new applicant must complete an online course. The following link takes you to Football Federation Australia’s (FFA) website where new referees can complete the first part of the accreditation process:
Having completed this module, the applicant will receive the Laws of the Game (LOTG) certificate. The LOTG certificate does not make you eligible to referee, you must complete a series of seminars and coaching sessions in order to be eligible to referee.
The accreditation seminars are conducted by the FSC Referees Council and are a nationally recognised course. Once you have completed the course you will be full registered as a FSC Referee.
