2019 Registration Process

Click here to open our REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

There has been some questions in regard to the new registration system and they mainly revolve around the functionality of the system.  We ask that you follow the updated attached registration procedure to assist with your concerns.

A few items that need particular attention, are the following:-

  1. If you are going to use the Active Kids Voucher, that is completed prior to the registration.
  2. Payment is to be paid in cash on the registration days and not conducted online in the Playfootball website.
  3. The invoice from Playfootball will be required on the registration day to confirm your registration and if you have applied for the Active Kids Voucher so the remaining can be paid in cash on the registration day. Please do not turn up on the registration day without your invoice from Playfootball website or will have to ask you to come back when you have it.  All issues can be assisted by Peter Nethercott prior.

Please forward this email to anyone that is keen on joining the mighty Cobras for 2019 season, especially the potential U6 players for 2019.

Please forward any questions in regards to the registration to Peter Nethercott, email:- RVJFC1954@gmail.com

WBRSL Sponsorship

Thanks to Woonona Bulli RSL for their sponsorship of $1,500 for this year. Their continued support of our club over many years is greatly appreciated by everybody.

Thanks to K&R Fabrications

Friday night games are a big part of what makes RVJFC a great place for the kids to play Football. In past years it has been the older age groups who have had the privalidge of playing on Friday nights, but over the last couple of years most of our comp teams get an opportunity to share the experience.

It costs the club a little bit extra in electricity but this is generally made up for by increased sales on the BBQ as a lot of locals come down to watch the kids run around and have a sausage or steak sandwich.

Over the last couple of years the committee has struggled with finding the best (most economical!) way to get the lights repaired at our ground, and it got to the point where we had a few lights out and really needed to spend some serious money to get them fixed. In general business have tightened their purse strings and it’s not easy to get someone to loan you a Cherry Picker, and then the OH&S implications that go along with that, and getting the work done.

Earlier in the year a company based in Unanderra, K&R Fabrications, offered to have the lights repaired for us. So, from everyone at RVJFC we’d like to say thanks to Nick Mandranis and the team who made this possible. Your support for our club is greatly appreciated by everyone.

FSC 2016 SAP Program Information

Football South Coast is excited to announce our coaching and technical staff for 2016 for the FNSW (Mixed) Skills Acquisition Program (SAP).

FSC have held the SAP license for a number of years and with a recent license granted to the Wollongong Wolves, the South Coast like many other areas across NSW will have a number of programs in the one region.  This of course means a greater opportunity for juniors to represent the region through representative football.

The program for Under 9’s, 10’s, 11’s and 12’s (boys and girls) aims to provide young players an opportunity to experience an enhanced football environment, above that provided in community football with training 3 nights a week and games played each week across NSW. Players selected in the program play exclusively for Football South Coast.

FSC has also recently been granted a FNSW Girls Only SAP License for U10 and U12 – fourteen girls will be selected via a trial process across each age group.  Players selected will represent Football South Coast playing once per fortnight as part of the program in addition to their club football.  Training will be held 2 nights per week prior to the commencement of the season and once per week after this.  More information around trial dates will be published in due course.

RVJFC 2015 AGM Tuesday 20th October, 7:00pm, WBRSL

Hi everyone,

All club members are invited to attend our annual AGM. The meeting starts at 7:00pm this Tuesday at Woonona Bulli RSL Club. If you can only get to one meeting a year to support the club, please make the time to come along. We set the fee structure for next year, as well as set the directions of the club. You don’t need to be a Committee Member to attend. We’d love to see you there.

Thanks,

The Committee.

MiniRoo Presentation Day 30th August

A reminder the U6-U9 Miniroo Presentation is this Sunday Aug 30 between 10am and Midday at Woonona Bowling Club. Could you please pass this information onto your team members.

Also, all coaches & managers, could you please bring training equipment and playing strips handed to you by Renea Walker at the beginning of the season. She has a list of who got what and will be asking for it at the presentation day.

Please make this easy on everyone and bring with you. The committee is tired after a long trying season and the last thing we need to do is chase people for this equipment.

Finally, please make your members aware of the following;

  • the RVJFC AGM will be held on Tuesday Oct 20 7pm at WBRSL. The committee is concerned by the lack of representation on the committee of parents in the U6-U9 age group (Peter Nethercott only). Please be aware the future of the club is in these age groups hands and if you want the continuation of what the club is currently offering we are going to need to see parents within this age group step and become more involved, the AGM is a great place to engage and see what happens and how you may be able to become involved from 2016 onwards.

  • 2016 Registration will be available online from Monday 4th January – avoid all the stress at the start of the school year and get in early, register on line and come down to our payment days which will be Sat 30th January and 6th of February

  • U9’s 2016 – these teams can nominate for advanced, beginner or intermediate. Not sure of the collective thoughts of the parents (problem with no parent representation on committee) but you have a number of options. The committee needs to be guided by what the parents want and these decisions need to be made by mid February 2016

Regards
