Sport and Recreation, Office of Communities in partnership with the Illawarra Stingrays Women’s Premier League Team will again be hosting the Stingrays Girls Football Clinic this upcoming April School Holidays.
The two day clinic will be held at JJ Kelly Park (Outer Field), Wollongong on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th April 2013 from 9:30am to 12:30pm each day. All coaching will be provided by current players from the Illawarra Stingrays Women’s Premier League team. With a low player to coach ratio and an emphasis on ‘having fun’, the clinic will provide participants with the opportunity to build upon their fundamental football skills including passing, shooting, game play, defending and playing as a team.
Please find attached to this email a flyer and enrolment form for the upcoming clinic.
At an affordable $45 over two days, this clinic provides a fantastic opportunity for young female players who love playing football to meet their favourite Stingrays and learn some new tips and tricks for the season ahead.
Please feel free to forward this information to any other parents or carers who may be interested in the clinic.
Thank you. Should you have any further queries or wish to enrol over the phone, please don’t hesitate to contact Sport and Recreation’s Wollongong office on (02) 4228 5355.
