Now that’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout !!!!! For all in attendance at Bellambi No.2 Ground at 10am today were entertained by a fluent, cohesive and skillful performance. The boys in the 9 White’s today underlined why all around the world “football” is termed the beautiful game. Every aspect of the boys game came together today in a dominate 2 – 0 win over Bellambi. A howling southerly made it challenging to play skillful football but the boys put on a show. Every boy demonstrated the commitment and concentration I have been asking from them. The boys that have hung back at the start of the season are really starting to blossom. Players like Angus Smart, Casey Bray and Ben Charlesworth. But the boy who has surged ahead is Sean Donnelly. What a mid field performance he put on today!!! I can’t end this report without saying how wonderful it was to observe Jordan Errington “bang” the ball in to the back of the net after a fluent move forward involving Jack Donnelly, Tom Curren, Jack Bell and Blair Dunn. I am sure I have not been to too many U9 games when the side line applauses as one for a passage of play (and this didn’t happen on just one occasion). Onwards and upwards boys. Lets see if we can repeat today’s performance next week!!!!
