Rd 10 U9 White v Coledale

Today was not one of our better days. The boys started the game off well but after 5 minutes we stopped competing for the ball. That allowed the Coledale team to get into the game. They started wanting the ball more than our boys and their efforts were rewarded with a goal midway through the first half. During the week Mark Johnson from Bulli Football club took the boys for an hour of individual ball work. It was great to see today Jordan Errington, Jack Donnelly and Blair Dunn trying to implement some of what they were being taught. A couple of times the way Jack Donnelly moved the ball out of defence with his footwork with the ball was exceptional. This was matched with Jordan Errington using his body and foot work to turn players and move into attack. Great stuff boys. You guys have been consistently showing the rest of the boys what we are trying to achieve. We have Paul Jones from Glen Fontana Football Academy on Wednesday night so lets see what we can learn and use in our game next week.
