Free Barefoot Bowls Day March 17th

Hi All,

We have some exciting news to advise all the kids that are attending our Barefoot Bowls day on Sunday 17th of March ’19, starting at Woonona Bowling Club at 3.30pm and that is there is going to be Jumping Castle to enjoy as well as the Barefoot Bowls. Our fellow RVJFC parents Nat and Casey from Kids @ Heart have kindly donated the Jumping Castle on the day for free. Attached is their flyer if you are having a party or community function.

Part of the day we are going to provide free sausage sizzle for all and we need to know how many people are going to attend. So can you please RSVP to your Coach or Manager by 5pm Sunday 10th of March 2019.

Please advise the coaches how many kids and parents/guardians are going to attend in your family so everyone is catered.

Can the Coach or Manager email me on danielrvjfc@hotmail.com by 5pm Monday 11th of March 2019.

We also will have a fun ten (10) x 1hr sessions at Flipout Nth Wollonong to win as well as fifteen (15) 1hr free sessions for individual use. So all up there will be sixteen (16) lucky winners on the day.

Going to be a great day to meet others in your team and part of the club. It makes it a great way to start the season for RVJFC.

Please see below and attached contacts details for your next party or function.

Barefoot Bowls Day

As part of our sponsorship commitment with the Woonona Bowling Club, we are holding a Barefoot Bowls Day at the club on Sunday 17 March. Times will be confirmed closer to the day, but you should mark it in your diaries now.

Thanks to K&R Fabrications

Friday night games are a big part of what makes RVJFC a great place for the kids to play Football. In past years it has been the older age groups who have had the privalidge of playing on Friday nights, but over the last couple of years most of our comp teams get an opportunity to share the experience.

It costs the club a little bit extra in electricity but this is generally made up for by increased sales on the BBQ as a lot of locals come down to watch the kids run around and have a sausage or steak sandwich.

Over the last couple of years the committee has struggled with finding the best (most economical!) way to get the lights repaired at our ground, and it got to the point where we had a few lights out and really needed to spend some serious money to get them fixed. In general business have tightened their purse strings and it’s not easy to get someone to loan you a Cherry Picker, and then the OH&S implications that go along with that, and getting the work done.

Earlier in the year a company based in Unanderra, K&R Fabrications, offered to have the lights repaired for us. So, from everyone at RVJFC we’d like to say thanks to Nick Mandranis and the team who made this possible. Your support for our club is greatly appreciated by everyone.
